What is it?
Often museums curate the 1% of history - on wars, exotic jewels etc., but not everyday history. The Amuseum is all about curating objects and stories of everyday history of the 99%. The artefacts are in their functional state, so that you can touch, feel, interact, and make a personal connection with them, all through our digital platform. You are also led to unveil the engineering behind them and the science they are based on. The platform is interactive and takes you on a treasure-hunt rather than a guided tour - using our tools you discover the significance and working of the artefacts, and share what you learnt. You can even buy the artefacts themselves - coin collections, ancient cameras, and artworks - from our partners on our online store.
